At right, FC's LaTeasha Hill lets sail with her effort in the discus competition. The sophomore will place third in the event, in addition to placing third in the shot put to qualify for regional participation in both individual challenges.

 

At left, the Flashes' Alex Green (36) runs between Warren Central and Roncalli runners en route to a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run. Green also will run on the regional-qualifying 4 x 400-meter FC relay quartet that includes Christine Talhelm, Brittany Aurelio and Jessie Staats.

 

At right, FC senior Jessie Staats (51) will finish first in her heat of the 400-meter dash, winding up eighth in the event's overall tally. Later, she will anchor the Flashes' 4 x 400-meter relay combine to a third-place finish.
