The Flashes Booster Club is a non-profit organization run by parents to support the athletic programs at Franklin Central High School. All of the money raised by the Flashes Booster Club goes back into the athletic programs at the school. While the school has some money for the athletic programs, there are always additional needs. Through the years, the Flashes Booster Club has been involved in helping those programs by purchasing or contributing to the purchase of a variety of items, including the following in the last few years:

  • Baseball batting cage
  • Travel bags for soccer, swimming & girls' basketball and volleyball
  • Fall and winter sports programs
  • Balls and bats for softball
  • Golf cart for athletic trainers
  • Golf bags
  • Video equipment for football
  • Scoring table for volleyball and basketball
  • T-shirts for summer workouts, championships and teams
  • Poly cap for baseball fence
  • Senior night
  • Warm-ups for wrestling
  • Softball pitching machine
  • TV for girls' basketball
  • Statistics Program for boys & girls basketball/baseball

The success of the Flashes Booster Club depends upon parents becoming involved and helping with the different activities. We generally meet the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the FCHS Teachers Lounge. Our meetings are open to all parents, and we welcome your participation. We encourage you to become a member, attend the meetings, and become involved for your kids and Flashes athletics!
